Welcome to Big Mo Hardware. Growing up in Middleborough I would accompany my folks to town to buy hardware, shop at the Boston store, Trips candy, eat at Woolworths, play at the YMCA by the old police station. Those days are long gone and even though those stores no longer exist we are bringing back some of the quaint traits of Middleborough with our hardware store and gift shop. We have a full stock of parts for small engines, snow blowers, lawn mowers, chain saws, etc. From belts, carburetors, gas filters, oil filters, air filters, tubes for tires, blades for lawn mowers, the list goes on and on.
We also have a nice array of gifts, some once only found on the Cape, some not found anywhere else. We try to use local artist creations or at least items made in America whenever possible. Our main attraction are our tin signs which we display in our store front window and inside in crates and on the walls. We stock everything from Patriotic, American sayings to silly fun signs and everything in between. We update our inventory every couple of months so stop in any time and you will be sure to find something for you or a gift for Mom & Pop or anyone on your shopping list. You might not even be looking for a gift but can’t resist picking up something you have never seen before. We have small items for kids too, light-in-the-dark rings, small toy soldiers, squirt guns, puzzles.
